    Radical!
As I was rummaging through photos on Instagram one evening, I came across this picture of a truck turned into a surfers/outdoors mans dream ride (pictured above). I found this absolutely fascinating.

Jay Nelson was born in Los Angeles and started surfing when he was 8. Jay told Revolver, “Surfing is a wonderful spiritual endeavor.” Aside from surfing, he is best known for his artistic abilities.

Jay is a sculptor, painter, and drawer. He currently resides in San Francisco. He first starting building tree houses, one in Hawaii followed by a couple more. These are was sparked his interest in “art as functional space.” Then he moved onto transforming a car, a truck, a scooter and a boat into amazing works of functional art.

These are some of the most fascinating, ingenious pieces of art I’ve seen in a long time! Makes me want to go out back, bust out the tools and make a tree house of my own. Enjoy my dear friends.
